Locally owned and operated, That Was RAD (TWR) launched in August of 2007 with one goal in mind; to promote the progression of board sports in the San Francisco Bay Area and greater NorCal region.  It is home to our Crew and the raddest Surf, Skate, Snow, and Wake boarders, board shops, events, and locations you’ll find west of the Mississippi.  

That Was RAD is a premiere, online community for local boarders to upload and share their own footage as well as experience friendly competition via monthly video contests.  We also invite TWR members to check out exclusive That Was RAD shows, catch rare video coverage of local events, and share opinions regarding industry films and boarding locations.
